A children portrait of Karl Theodor.
German guided tour.

The portrait from 1731 shows Karl Theodor of Pfalz-Sulzbach (1724–1799) at the age of six and a half. After the death of his father in 1733 he already became heir to the Elector Palatinate at the age of nine. For the first time the painting will be presented within the special exhibition „The Unloved – The Elector Karl Theodor in Munich“. It was acquired with funds from the Bauer´sche Barockstiftung.
