Bayerisches Schulmuseum

An Overview of the Historiy of Education

The Bayerisches Schulmuseum is located at Ichenhausen manor. The museum offers an overview of the history of schooling that goes all the way back to antiquity. The main focus of the exhibition, however, is on the history of schooling in Bavaria since the 19th century. A historical classroom will transport you back in time to school life in the early part of the 20th century, and interactive stations allow visitors to discover something new but also brush up on the old material.
